Students:
Contact the schools directly in order to find a course that suits your needs. When you have been admitted to an officially recognised educational institution, you can apply for a Student Residence Permit.
You must have proof of funds. For the academic year 2012–2013 it is required that you have NOK 92 500. If you have own funds, you must transfer the amount to an account in your own name in a Norwegian bank or deposit the amount in an account established by the educational institution for this purpose.
You must present a plan for the studies on an official form.

If you start studying in January/ August, you should apply already in October/ May.

If you are travelling from Cameroon to Abuja to submit your student permit application, you do not need to pay the verification fee, unless the Embassy has doubts about the application.
Family Immigration:
You will find information about family immigration on UDI's website. There is a checklists which tells you which documentation you need to hand in together with your application. Please fill out the questionnaire which is relevant to your type of case. Applicants who insist upon delivering an incomplete application, must be aware that their application is likely to be refused. If you insists upon handing in an incomplete application you must submit a written explanation on why all the required documentation is not attached with the application.
We advise you to enclose a Power of Attorney form to your application.

Persons under 18 years old living in Cameroon do not need to come to the Embassy in Abuja to submit their Family Immigration applications. They can submit their applications in person at one of the consulates in Cameroon.
Work Permit:
