To apply for a residence permit to Norway you need to come to for an interview. All applicants will be interviewed at the Embassy of Norway in Abuja. Appointment time has to be booked by e-mail in advance at: visa.abuja@mfa.no (same information needs to be submitted in the request as for visa applications, please refer to the section ‘appointment system explained’).
The competent authority for residence permits is The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI). After lodging your application, kindly address all further enquiries to them. The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration makes the decisions on the granting of residence permits.

When you have been admitted to an officially recognised educational institution, you can apply for a student residence permit. Family immigration/reunion permit:
If you have close family members who are living or will be living in Norway, you may apply to live with your family. You will then need to apply for a family immigration permit, and meet the requirements for this permit. In addition, it is a condition that the person living in Norway can ensure subsistence and housing for you. Work/Residence Permit:
